A self-described introvert who found his voice on YouTube, Shlok Srivastava has turned his love of technology into a multi-crore enterprise. Srivastava has established a vibrant online community thanks to his YouTube channel Tech Burner, which currently has over 10 million subscribers.
What was once a side business has grown into a successful enterprise that brings in a sizable income for him. In order to make material regarding mobile phones using the gadgets of his pals, Srivastava started his YouTube career from scratch in 2014.
He began with no resources, progressively increased his hardware, and increased his capacity for content creation. Today, he earns crores of rupees every month, though he struggles to give a precise figure. In September of last year, Srivastava collaborated with Neel Gogia, the other co-founder of the influencer marketing firm IPLIX Media, to introduce Layers, his own line of mobile skins.
With almost 70,000 skins sold at an average price of Rs. 700 each, the company has already enjoyed tremendous success. To further diversify their product offering, they most recently unveiled the Official Marvel Inspired Designs. Gogia predicts a successful future for Layers and anticipates first-half revenue of about Rs 4.5–5 crore.
The business intends to enter the tempered glass and mobile cover markets and anticipates rapid growth once these new product categories are introduced. His creative passion has guided Srivastava on his journey from a shy college student to a tech influencer and businessman. His interests in technology and creativity have always been very important to him, and he incorporates them into his YouTube video.
For him, technology is an outlet for expression and a tool for fostering creativity. Despite being an introvert in college, Srivastava's communication skills have grown as a result of his YouTube experience.
